Hockey Reunion

Welcome to the Hockey Club Alumni Reunion Page!

The next Hockey Club Reunion will be the weekend of the 23^rd May 2015.

The Saturday night will comprise of a formal dinner, promise auction, a ceilidh, and of course many games of fives. We hope this will be a great opportunity to reacquaint yourselves with old friends, coaches and hockey club habits. Over the weekend we will be organising some more events, at Potterow on Friday, including a couple of hockey matches on Saturday to play in… or watch from the Peffermill bar.

The schedule for the reunion will be:

Friday 22^nd May

• Informal ‘Big Cheese’ night at Potterrow. Let us know if you arrive early and want to join the club

Saturday 23^rd May

• Peffermill Bar will be open 11:00 – 16:00
  • Sevens Hockey Tournament
  • Teams allocated (£5 entry) with free T-shirt
  • Exhibition Match

• Hockey 10 year Reunion Ball & Dinner
  • Sheraton Hotel, Edinburgh 19:00 – 01:00
    • Tickets are £68 and include a three course dinner and pre-meal drinks reception

There are several accommodation options with reduced prices for this event:

• Sheraton Grand Hotel and Spa – special rate of £225 single or £245 double when you book by telephone and quote  “Reunion Dinner”
• Apex Hotel Grassmarket – Prices from £75, plus a further 10% discount with a UoE alumni card
• Salisbury Hotel at Pollock Halls – 15% discount with a UoE alumni card
• Travelodge (various) – Prices from £81
